Oonloergan and Laundry

I know it's been forever since I've blogged, and I'm sorry I'm so bad about it! There has been lots of fun stuff going on, and I will definitely try to recap it soon!

Until then, I had two funny stories to tell...

I got a voucher for a carwash off of Living Social a few months ago and today was the expiration date. If you get Living Social or Groupon or any of those types of emails, you know how quickly that expiration date sneaks up on you when you actually purchase something! So, I called the carwash place today to try and get an appointment and apparently everyone else who bought the coupon had already booked up today. Anyway, the guy was a little frazzled by all of that but did end up letting me use the coupon next Monday. This is the good part. He asks for my name- "Michelle" no problem, he gets it. Then I say, "Lonergan" and begin to spell it "L-O-N". He stops me and for the next 2 to 3 minutes we have a discussion about how to spell my last name. He can't understand, so I repeat and try to spell. Finally, he repeats it back with L as in Larry, etc. I say yes, he repeats it again, I say yes, he says some more letters, I say sure. I could hear that it wasn't right, but he was breaking up so I just went with it. I got the email about an hour ago confirming my appointment and this is what I got.

Every time I look at it I bust out laughing! I mean, really? There's no way you can think that's actually a name!

Here's the other great story-

Scott and I just flew down to Texas for the AdvoCare Success School, our friend's wedding, and to see my fam. Scott then had to fly straight to Arizona for work so he was obviously packing for a longer trip. While we were packing he asked me "Do we have any laundry going right now? I can't find some of my socks." I replied, "Nope, I got it all out. Your stuff just must be in an old suitcase or something."

Today, I went to throw laundry in the wash. I walked in, threw our stuff in and noticed some clothes sitting out. My thought was "Huh, those look like my blue pants. Oooooooohhhhhhhhh noooooooooo!" Yes, Scott was correct and some of our laundry was still in the wash when we left LAST THURSDAY! It was still wet, and in a big pile. It also smelled :( Needless to say, I was really bummed and worried that I ruined a bunch of our clothes. However, I threw them in the wash again, and then actually threw them in the dryer this time! Luckily, they came out smelling totally fine! Phew :)

Just wanted to share some funny moments from my day today! More stories to come soon!
